ALLERGIES\COPD\HEAVES

I have an 11 year old Rocky Mountain horse who suffers from allergies\copd\heaves, whichever we choose to call it.
He is on antihistamine and Herbs for Horses Breathe. I am trying to find a natural method to treat these symptoms. Steroids are absolutely not an option for this horse.
Do you think you can help us?
Answers;"Respiratory allergies such as COPD in horses is very manageable with Homeopathy and Herbal support in fact even in extreme cases the need for steroids is very rarely needed. However, because it is a chronic disease it is crucial to individualize the case to each particular horse. Your horse's symptoms much match those of the Homeopathic medicine we want to use in order for there to be any efficacy. With that being said please either contact me via email/phone or contact a Veterinary Homeopath to get to the bottom of the cause of your horse's Heaves...many times it is a combination of things such as lowered immunity due to heavy metal toxicity from Aluminum build up for example and contributing nutritional deficiencies or excesses that are at the root - so several factors need to be taken into consideration for there to be any favorable response.
The good news is there is much you can do to improve your horse's health with a natural approach."

I too have a horse that was diagnosed with heaves and suffers from allergy symptoms every spring. Discovering the cause is where to start and making sure a natural lifestyle and nutrition is in place. Horses with heaves should never be stalled so I hope you have that covered with your horses living outdoors 24/7. With the help of Ivana’s homeopathic remedies, testing my hay, a natural lifestyle and a hair test sample really helped to identify the nutritional underlying deficiencies as well. It’s still important I stay on top of this horses requirements and be proactive for her when the little spring bugs show up. They just love her and she reacts to their bites.
