Please call the equine dentist regularly!

The best advice (and reminder) I ever received was to have all my horses teeth checked. Time can really fly by and it's easy to forget the last time you called the equine dentist.

Candy's age is uncertain but the previous owner believed she must be 30 now! After discovering her teeth had not been looked at for a really long time, I quickly called the equine dentist for a check up. Thank goodness I did. She had a loose tooth that had to be causing pain and discomfort.

Afterward she had more energy than ever! It was a big lesson in how horses can hide pain. After all it is a matter of survival for them.

I think she is going to outlive us all! :0)
