I’M RUNNING FOR PRESIDENCY!

Hear Yeee!, Hear yeee!
I went to a foreign land to talk to the country,
Only to discover I didn’t speak the language and felt kind of funny,
It seems the language of choice was the use of the body,
I had to learn fast if I was to communicate to everybody.
Apparently before me, leaders tried to be just bosses,
It was clear that this was not a gain but only many losses.
So I asked my country, how can I gain your trust and respect?
They replied without use of bits, force or mistrust.
I see I explained feeling a bit puzzled,
Yet knew they were testing my ability to get unraveled.
I thought for awhile, and came up with a plan,
It’s like running for Presidency for all of the land!
I must always display respect, kindness and loyalty,
If I was to impress the strongest of royalty.
This was not an ordinary race,
For the votes are only tallied on each and every pace.
This country shared how their lives depended on leadership,
So proving this was going to be a continual hardship.
No problem I thought for this was only fair,
Why should I lead if I couldn’t prove I cared?
Everyday I go out and talk to the folks,
In hopes I can offer guidance, hope and get votes!
For it is clear that I hold the responsibility at hand,
So I must always run for Presidency throughout this land.
They added one more warning and said it with a shout,
Today you maybe in, but tomorrow you may be out!
If great leadership means someone who you admire,
Then it’s our responsibility to not get fired!
