Happy New Year from Our Herd of Horses!I just love the new beginning of another year. I get inspired about what to share with you next. This year we are dedicating our work to those who really want to learn more than most and are willing to look beyond the norm. Get ready for a journey into the unknown!
Then I went out to our herd and asked if
they had any New Year resolutions and this is what they said!
(see first picture of herd)
Starting from the left:
Atlas (who is being re-trained) said,
"I promise not to be such a "Drama Queen" when shown new information or when taken away from my girlfriend Sweet Pea!"Sweet Pea (who is the leader of the herd) said,
"I will not push around the boys so much...., unless they deserve it of course!"Cash said,
"I just want to be left alone to eat! And I want to eat all the grass!"Brit (who can't be more than two feet from Cash it seems) said,
"I promise to give Cash some space and not be so needy! I guess she doesn't like having her own personal stalker!"Little Bit (who loves a bum scratch on anything or from anyone) said,
"I promise not to use new buildings that will dent as a butt scratching posts! That guy (Dave) gave me a really dirty look for doing this and I think he mumbled something about a glue factory too!"(see picture of Hero)
Hero (who is just two years old) said,
"I will not break so many fence boards! I see that guy walking around with a hammer a lot and I don't think he likes fixing all those boards. What's a glue factory?"(see picture of Candy)
Candy (who is about 32 years old) said,
"I will try not to barge through gates when a person opens them or sneak under fencing unless I am invited! Oh, and I am going to hang around and look cute for awhile yet!"Well there you have it. I guess resolutions don't have to be huge just hopes! And I'm hoping they will stick to them!
Happy New Year everyone and may all your dreams come true,
Elaine and Dave Polny
