I wish to reunite him with a person who greatly loves the Horse....and there is VERY LITTLE TIME LEFT for these two. PLEASE HELP...He will get the very best of homes for THE REST OF HIS LIFE! for now and ever after.

That's where the horse raced. Jockey and owner info on the racetrack website. Hope you are genuine about this cause I'd hate to help someone who has ill intentions regarding a racehorse. If this individual really wanted his horse back he should be the one searching. The current owner very well may be releasing the horse to a rescue that rehomes retired racehorses and you may be filling an application and have requirements to adopt. I'd certainly hope that they would be diligent searching individuals with who they adopt to. The horse also probably will require ongoing vet care due to racetrack injuries and expensive to maintain his health. He may be a cribber etc and not the horse he was before he was trained for the track. He may now only be adopted as a pet with no expectations due to his retirement and health. You would be better to adopt through a rescue for retired racehorses than right off the track as they will overcharge you and not be honest about his health records. Is you friend aware of all these things? Have you discussed this with him? Is he financially prepared to foot the bill indefinitely ? I'd love to know how this ends. Good luck!
