Praying To Horses!

Have you ever had a moment just before you were going to do something with a horse (for their first time) that could be potentially dangerous, like mounting and you really hope that all your hard work will pay off and that it all goes well? Me too!

The embarrassing moment in the above picture was that my eyes were accidentally closed when the picture was taken! But it looked to me like I was praying to Hero (who is only 3yrs) because we were about to embark on our first mounting session. I think the prayer would have sounded something like this:

"Please Hero don't over react when I put my weight upon your back for the first time because I am not as limber as I once was and bumps, bruises and broken bones just take way too long to heal these days!" Amen.

He must of heard me because all went well, thank goodness.

P.S. No I'm not a religious person by nature.But I do agree with sending some pure positive energy when needed!:0)
