What about insurance?

What type do you carry for boarding,leasing,and people being on your property? Thanks Madeleine.

Answer:

Hi Madeleine,

I carry a farm policy for liability insurance which would cover people coming onto the property and the horses boarded here. In addition, I have a further separate policy that covers training, clinics (on or off) the property, lessons etc.

Having said all that, everyone must still sign a waiver to acknowledge the risk involved playing with horses.

Safety must always come first regardless of the insurance one has!
